I operate out of the Reformed tradition, but for a Catholic order. I do Christian ethics, but as a biblical theologian. I research theology academically, but mostly write for popular and non-theological audiences.<\/p>\n<p>I am an elder\u00a0 in the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, and work as a social theologian for a branch of the Society of Jesus in Ireland. I did my PhD on the parables of Jesus and the wealth of the western world. My current research focuses on precarity in work, housing policy, and Karl Barth&#8217;s interpretation of Scripture (not all at the same time).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Creideamh is the Irish word for faith or belief.
