It is pretty telling that the most interesting aspect of this passable, occasionally funny film was that it was set partly in the town where my little brother lives.

Not just notionally set, but actually located. I watched them film it while I was eating my lunch. They moved me so I wouldn’t be in picture.
They were frightened your sultry charm would overshadow Emily Blunt.
